When Every Idea Belongs to God

Every time I sit down to design, I’m reminded that nothing I create truly belongs to me. Every idea, every spark of inspiration, every new shirt that comes to life — it’s all from God. I don’t take credit for any of it. My prayer is that He keeps using Obedient Rebellion as a vessel to glorify His name.

The mission behind this brand has never been about fashion for fashion’s sake. Obedient Rebellion exists to glorify God through bold, faith-driven apparel. Each design declares obedience to Christ and quiet defiance against the world’s compromise — not to point to us, but to point others toward Him.

As an artist, creating has always been my passion. I love the process — sketching, experimenting, building something that feels meaningful. But more and more, I’ve realized that creativity is a gift meant to serve a higher purpose. God gave me the ability to create, and the least I can do is use it to honor Him.

At the end of the day, it’s not about the clothes. It’s about the story behind them. It’s about obedience, faith, and giving all glory back to the One who gave me the vision in the first place.
